Fifth Rule: "Mind what people do, not only what they say, for deeds will betray a lie." -Goodkind.Recently, Stephen Harper has been flexing his political muscle by acting against the wishes of the Americans and putting Canadian Icebreakers in Canadian Arctic waters.
Huzzah Mr. Harper, you have shown us that you're no American Puppet.
Anyone else think it's odd that an issue we've never heard in the past has become his chest-thumping stand against the Americans? Isn't it also a bit strange that he's standing up to them in domestic policy, not in foreign?
Softwood lumber, Canadian Beef, border crossings -- we've been hearing about these issues for ages, but he chooses an obscure issue in order to boost his image.
It seems a bit too put-on, doesn't it?
"Alright Mr. Bush, I need you to sound angry about this whole arctic thing. We don't want to look too chummy right off the bat."
The whole story reeks of deception. That's one demerit. Subtracting that from the brownie point they got in my last post, they stand at a solid Zero.

You have to start blogging about human interest stories. Or at least about me. People are wholly intrigued by me.
